Terms of Sales

These conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand by Julie Mathieu, (SIRET number: 522 079 094 00077)  whose head office is located at 28 rue Claire Pauilhac, 31000 Toulouse.

1 - Object of the contract

The purpose of these general conditions of sale is to establish the contractual provisions between Julie Mathieu and the Customer, and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the merchant site www.juliemathieu.com.

The person who makes the purchase online on the site  www.juliemathieu.com  declares to be of legal age in the legal sense of the country in which he resides, and to have the legal capacity or to hold parental authorization allowing him to place an order on the site. When registering his personal data when confirming the order or creating his account, the latter must ensure the accuracy of the mandatory data that he provides. In the event of an error in the recipient's contact details, Julie Mathieu cannot be held responsible for the possible non-delivery of the product.

Any order implies unreserved acceptance by the customer of these conditions of sale.  

2 - Prices

The prices are indicated in euros and are inclusive of all taxes without shipping costs. The shipping costs are indicated when the customer places his order and before he proceeds to payment.

In the event of a request for delivery abroad, customs duties, local taxes, import duties or state taxes may be payable. These rights and sums are not the responsibility of Julie Mathieu and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.​

Julie Mathieu reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, the products will be invoiced on the basis of the prices in force at the time of the recording of the orders.

3 - Characteristics of the items offered for sale

The items offered are those which appear in the catalog published on the site www.juliemathieu.com . These items are offered within the limits of available stocks.

Each article is accompanied by a description drawn up by Julie Mathieu. The photographs on the site are as faithful as possible, but cannot ensure a perfect similarity with the proposed article, in particular with regard to the colors. Julie Mathieu cannot be held responsible for minimal differences that may exist between the image displayed on the site and the reality of the product.

4 - Geographical area

The online sale of items presented on the site is open to buyers who reside in mainland France and countries belonging to the European Union. For all other shipping destinations, please contact me by email at juliemathieu@live.com  for us to agree on a shipping rate.

5 - Orders

Julie Mathieu retains ownership of the items until full payment of the order, that is to say upon receipt of the price of the order by Julie Mathieu.

Julie Mathieu reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order coming from a Customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order. Any order implies acceptance of the prices and description of the items available for sale.

Julie Mathieu undertakes to honor orders received on the website only within the limits of available stocks.

6 - Terms of payment

Payment for purchases is made via PayPal.

Payment is secured by SSL protocol.

7 - Shipping costs and packaging

Shipping costs are calculated according to the country of destination, the number of items and the size of the order.

A5 and A4 orders are shipped in green letter with tracking in cardboard envelopes. A3 and A2 size orders are shipped by Colissimo in triangular or rectangular cardboard tubes. 

All artwork is carefully wrapped in a sheet of white, acid-free, recyclable tissue paper.
All packaging is biobased (FSC) or recycled and recyclable and comes from European manufacturers.

8 - Shipping and delivery times

All orders placed on the www.juliemathieu.com site before 2 p.m. are prepared within 3 working days (Monday-Friday) excluding public holidays from the date of the order, subject to payment validation and product availability. Any delays do not give the customer the right to cancel the order, to refuse it or to claim damages. 

Orders are shipped via La Poste: 
- For national orders, the indicative delivery time is 3 to 4 working days from dispatch.
- For international orders, the indicative delivery time is 8 working days (1-2 weeks) from dispatch, but can sometimes take up to 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the terms of national posts.

Julie Mathieu cannot be held responsible for the consequences due to a delay in delivery.

Orders are shipped with a tracking number provided by email. Please check that you have entered a valid e-mail to receive it and check your spam emails.

9 - Conformity of the order

Products not corresponding to the order placed

Julie Mathieu undertakes to reimburse or exchange products that do not correspond to the order. The request must be made within 7 working days of delivery by e-mail to:  juliemathieu@live.com . Any complaint formulated after this deadline cannot be accepted. The products must be returned to Julie Mathieu in the condition in which they were received, in their original packaging, within 7 working days of sending this e-mail. The shipping costs will be reimbursed, on the basis of the invoiced price, as well as the return costs incurred, if the return is justified by a quality defect or non-conformity with the order.

Poor condition of the order upon receipt

The customer is required to check the condition of the items delivered. It is impossible to have control over sorting centers, letter carriers, janitors or employees of La Poste. In the event that the order is damaged via a third party, Julie Mathieu cannot be held responsible. However, these situations remain extremely rare and if this is the case, any anomaly noted (missing item, damaged package, broken item, etc.) must be indicated within 7 days of receipt by email to  juliemathieu@live.com  so that we find a solution.

10 - Withdrawal periods: exchange or return

Customers, non-professional individuals, benefit from a withdrawal period of 14 days from the delivery of their order to return the product to Julie Mathieu for exchange or refund without penalty, and without return costs. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. The Customer will be refunded the price of his purchase without shipping costs as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after the date on which he exercised his right of withdrawal.

11 - Personal information

Julie Mathieu undertakes not to divulge the information you provide to third parties. These are confidential. They will only be used for the processing of your order and only to reinforce the communication of the offer of the products reserved for the customers of Julie Mathieu, in particular by the newsletters to which you will be subscribed.

All payment details are the responsibility of the secure Paypal service.

12 - Intellectual property - Copyright 

All texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on the site www.juliemathieu.com  are reserved under copyright as well as intellectual property and for the whole world. As such and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only use for private use subject to different or even more restrictive provisions of the intellectual property code. Any other use constitutes an infringement and is punishable under Intellectual Property without the prior authorization of Julie Mathieu. Any total or partial reproduction of Julie Mathieu's catalog is strictly prohibited.

Copyright and reproduction rights do not transfer with the sale of a print or original.
